The Hens

The real egg girls!

We have a large flock of about thirty hens and two roosters. They are free range, and they love to scratch and roam around their yard. Most of them are of the Araucana breed, or Easter Eggers. Recently, our flock has expanded to include a few representatives of the Cinnamon Queen and Rhode Island Red breeds. They lay lots of eggs every day!

The Bees

Honey makers!

Our bees make a lot of delicious honey. My Mom and Dad take care of them.  My favorite part of having bees is eating their honey. We also get to make plenty of good stuff from their beeswax. Sometimes, we all help extract the honey. Bees are so fascinating!

The Pigs

Bacon-Makers galore!

Our new pigs are here and having fun! Their names are Anna and Elsa because they are white and brown. They love rolling around and playing in the mud in their outdoor pen.
